Silver Pendants

Silver pendants aren’t usually as expensive as other silver jewellery because of their smaller size. If set with precious gemstones like diamond however, they can rise a little steeper in price.

Sterling silver is the best type of silver for necklaces and other jewellery. This alloy is much stronger than pure silver, and has a near identical look.

To care for your silver, wash occasionally with mild soap and water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. When you are not wearing your silver, store it in an air-tight bag or jewellery box to protect against tarnishing.

The primary causes of tarnish are oxidation and sulfur in the atmosphere. Protect your jewellery from household chemicals such as chlorine bleach that can cause oxidation and tarnish by taking off your jewellery before washing hands, showering, applying cosmetics, and using household chemicals.
